Established in 1954 by Eva & Everett Thornburgh and a few of their friends such as Marion Smith and Nina & Wade West, the Central Oregon Cutting Horse Association’s principal purpose is to provide members an opportunity to enjoy the sport of cutting and to gain experience in an environment which promotes competition and learning with an emphasis on affordability, maximum participation, and fun.
